Grand Theft Auto 5 PS5 and Xbox Series X release date and news

More information on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S editions of Grand Theft Auto V has been released by Rockstar Games. To begin with, Rockstar has confirmed that GTA V will be released on the new platforms on March 15th. The game was supposed to come out in November 2021 but new news has that will release on March 15, 2022. Coming around nine years after the original  Grand Theft Auto 5 game launched on Xbox 360 and PS3, this new version of Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto  Online will take advantage of the power of the latest consoles to show the increasingly familiar setting of  Grand Theft Auto 5 Los Santos at its best.  Grand Theft Auto 5 Players can use new graphics modes, HDR options, ray-tracing, faster load times, and 3D audio, with Xbox One and PS4 players, can transfer their saves.

Whether or not these  GTA 5 enhancements will be enough to tempt them to do so, however, remains to be seen. With the development of Grand theft 6 now confirmed to be “well underway”, you might be wondering why Rockstar north is even bothering with these enhancements and expansions. Well, Grand Theft Auto 5 has been a huge success for the developer, and its GTA 5 online counterpart, GTA Online, continues to be a massive hit, so it’s not totally surprising that Rockstar north wants to retain engagement across as many console generations as possible. Besides, while Grand Theft Auto 6 is in development, GTA 6 still doesn’t have a release date so we can’t be sure just how long we’ll be waiting for a new next-gen GTA  6 adventure. Rockstar North has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to PS5Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on March 15, 2022.

Also releasing the consoles as a separate standalone Grand Theft Auto 5 edition. Could this be a deliberate move to reduce Grand Theft Auto's storage demands, and allow the grand Theft Auto 5 multiplayer component to do more ambitious things? Or is it simply to position Grand Theft Auto Online as a continuous entity, even if another numbered Grand Theft Auto gets announced in the next couple of years? We'll have to wait and see. Grand Theft Auto 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S was initially meant to release on November 11, 2021, but Rockstar north Games announced the upgraded edition of the Grand Theft Auto game was delayed until March 2022 in September 2021. The new GTA release date was then confirmed, alongside the announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6, in February 2022. PS owners have a significant advantage in all of this. If you play Grand Theft Auto Online on PS4, you'll get Grand Theft Auto $1 million to spend in-game every month until the PS5 version of Grand Theft Auto launches. And when Grand Theft Auto Online's standalone edition arrives on Playstation 5 in March 2022, owners of the console will have three months to claim the Grand Theft Auto 5 game for free after release - until June 2022.

That means that Xbox Series X/S owners will have to play Grand Theft Auto 5. if they want to play the new version of Grand Theft Auto Online at launch, though a Grand Theft Auto 5 price hasn't been disclosed. It remains unclear if Grand Theft Auto 5 on PS5 and Xbox Series X will offer those who own the game on Playstation 4 and Xbox One a paid upgrade option or whether these new GTA 5 versions will need to be bought outright. GTA 5 and Grand theft Auto Online on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will benefit from a range of technical improvements, graphic upgrades, and performance enhancements to "take Grand Theft Auto 5 full advantage ". Rockstar north Games confirmed that both titles feature "new GTA 5 graphics modes with up to 4K resolution, up to 60 frames per second, texture and draw distance high upgrades, HDR options, and ray-tracing, as well as offering the Grand Theft Auto 5 technical advancements of the latest console generation with faster loading times, immersive 3D audio, platform-specific features like advanced Grand Theft Auto 5 haptic feedback, and much more,” Rockstar North has confirmed. Another welcome feature is that Grand Theft Auto 5 players can transfer their save data from the PS4 and Xbox One to their more modern consoles, including their Grand Theft Auto Online characters.

the new version of Grand Theft Auto Online will feature "a range of improvements", including the ability to skip the Grand Theft Auto 5 Story Mode prologue before jumping into Grand Theft Auto 5 Online and a new Grand Theft Auto Online Tutorial (like the replace the prologue). This should make jumping into Grand Theft Auto Online much easier for newbies, with new Grand Theft Auto Online players now able to enter Career Builder, granting instant access to one of four illegal GTA 5 businesses: Biker, Executive, Nightclub Owner, or Gunrunner. What's more, new Grand Theft Auto 5 players will get a chunk of in-game currency to help them get started.

Vehicle upgrades for grand theft auto Online

Rockstar North has announced on Twitter that when Grand Theft Auto Online hits the latest consoles, “select Grand Theft Auto 5 vehicles will be upgradable” on the PS5 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the GTA game, with “all-new GTA 5-speed improvements and more. These Grand Theft Auto 5 special upgrades will be available only on PS5 and Series X/S versions of Grand Theft Auto 5,” the Tweet confirmed, adding, “stay tuned for more details.” Twitter doesn’t go into a huge amount of detail, not revealing the exact Grand Theft Auto 5 nature of these upgrades. It also leaves some Grand Theft Auto 5 users with questions, specifically whether Grand Theft Auto 5 PC players will have access to these upgrades and whether or not current-gen players have faster.
